Wine Maker of the Year: 2014 and 2015
GOLD MEDALS: SYRAH MASTERS 2017 AND SAN FRANCISCO WINE CHALLENGE 2017
"An Excellent vintage which has resulted in a vibrant, aromatic cool climate Shiraz. Loaded with berry fruit characters and elegance. Spice and black pepper also evident. Drinking extremely well and will continue to improve for years to come."
Tony Love, National Wine Editor - Taste Australia News Ltd:
"The Shiraz for this super bargain comes from the producer's Goulburn Valley vineyard where the nearby lakes have a cooling effect on the ripening season and keep in check the weight here.
There's no question this is a big, bold, ripe style but with some distinctive smoky elements and genuine earthy characters that you don't often see at this price point."
